AnimationMentor Graduation!

A few weeks ago I was able to attend the official graduation for AnimationMentor in Berkeley, CA.  What an amazing ride these past two years have been.  The people I have met and the experience I have gained has exceeded my wildest expectations.  I’m sad for it to end, but I’ll look back on the whole experience with fond memories.

Thanks Bobby, Shawn, and Carlos for everything.

Finished! Sort of.

I have officially graduated from AnimationMentor!  It’s a great feeling, and I can’t wait for the graduation in Berkeley so I can meet some of my classmates in person.  Since my film is not completed, I took an extension at AM so I can finish it.  So there’s still lots to do.  I will have a “making of” thread when I’ve completed the animation portion.

As for updates, the animation page has new clips, and there are also a few new pieces on the artwork page.

The long road

I knew that making a short film was not going to be an easy task. Especially doing practically everything myself, and on my spare time no less. My story started out small but it inevitably grew as I worked out the kinks. As I plug along and stick to my schedule, I see a light at the end of the tunnel. The process is difficult, but it is extremely rewarding. I know it will be worth it and I’ll be very happy to have it completed and under my belt.
